Dr. Claudia Wagner-Riddle from the University of Guelph was awarded as Fellow to the CSAFM at the joint CGU-CSSS-CIG-ES/SSA-CSAFM meeting held in Niagara Falls in 2018.
Dr. Wagner-Riddle is a major international leader in understanding the production and management of greenhouse gases from agriculture. Her research has focused on three main areas that have significantly advanced the field of agrometeorology: 1) the application of micrometeorological methods for measuring greenhouse gas fluxes, 2) research on nitrous oxide emissions associated with freeze-thaw events, and 3) the development of management practices for reduction of GHG emissions from agro-ecosystems. She has also been an exemplary educator and mentor for the next generation of agricultural scientists.
Congratulations Claudia!
